I started this operation in 2016 after watching too many Santa Clarita homeowners get insulation dumped over unsealed top plates. That’s backwards. We seal first, then insulate, and I publish the blower-door numbers to prove it. I hold a BPI Building Analyst certification and a California C-2 insulation contractor license. When I’m not crawling through attics in Valencia or Saugus, I’m usually arguing with my smoker about brisket timing or trying to keep my two dogs from eating the drywall screws.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running our install crews since 2019. He’s the one who taught half our team how to spot a backdrafting water heater from the attic hatch before his boots hit the plywood. BPI-certified and Owens Corning Preferred Contractor trained, but his real specialty is the pre-job walk. He’ll spend twenty minutes in your garage explaining why your can lights need ten-inch covers before we blow a single bag of GreenFiber. He’s the one who schedules, confirms, texts you when Marcus is twenty minutes out, and makes sure your written scope and warranty are in your inbox before the crew arrives. He joined us in 2021 after managing dispatch for a plumbing outfit in Los Angeles and swore he’d never work somewhere that made customers wait three days for a callback. He coaches youth soccer in Newhall and has strong opinions about parking at the Santa Clarita Metrolink station.
Aiden K., Apprentice Installer
Aiden started with us in 2024 after completing the HVAC program at College of the Canyons. Right now he’s learning to read thermal imaging, run a smoke pencil for air-leak detection, and not step through a ceiling (one close call, no damage, he’s still embarrassed). He’s BPI Envelope Professional in training and handles most of our attic cleaning and rodent proofing prep work. Grew up in Stevenson Ranch, still lives with his parents while he saves for a condo, and asks Diana for sourdough discard every weekend.
